Thursday’s Tip:Feed Your Citrus & Feed Someone In Need!

Thursday is weekly tip day at the old Harper blog. This week’s tip has a double meaning. It is time to start thinking about fertilizing your trees and shrubs, especially citrus! We also want to remind you at the same time this Saturday you can come out to our Mesa location at 8am and for $10 get up to 60lbs of fresh produce. Your $10 donation to the 3000 club which puts on the “Market On The Move” uses the money and the extra produce to help feed those less fortunate! This last year they rescued 30 million pounds of produce and helped distribute it to Market on the Move farmer’s markets and local food banks www.the3000club.com is website you can go to for more information. We hope you’ll come out and buy some produce for yourself, share some with a friend or neighbor or someone less fortunate and help the volunteers who man the tables raise money for their non profit group at the same time! Harper’s will give you 10% OFF on any fertilizer if you show your receipt from Market On The Move so you can help feed the trees that feed you!!
